Known as the "Craddle of the Independence", Dolores Hidalgo is the place where on a September 16th 1810 the priest Miguel Hidalgo started the fight for the Mexican Independence.

On the way, visit the incredible Church of Atotonilco known as the Sistine Chapel of LatinAmerica.

Mineral de Pozos

Mineral de Pozos used to be known as the Ghost Town of Guanajuato. In recent years Pozos is now known as a "Pueblo Mágico" and between private and public investment has become a must see destination in your visit to San Miguel de Allende.

 

One hour away from San Miguel, you can take this wonderful 7 hours door-to-door tour where you can enjoy a visit to the old mines, to the town, learn about indigenous groups from the area, the Sierra Gorda, and more.

Celaya

Celaya for many people is not recognized as a touristic destination in Guanajuato. In recent years, local authorities have been working on opening their doors to mexican and foreign tourist.

 

Come and enjoy wonderful "Cajeta" while watching the beautiful architecture of Mr. Eduardo Tresguerras or some of the finest murals of Octavio Ocampo. Learn about the Mexican Revolution (1910-1917) and why Celaya was important during this years.

Querétaro

A World Heritage Site, Queretaro is one of the cities where very important events took place. It is the place where some conspiracies were held before the Independence, the place where Emperor Maximilian was killed, the place where hte Constitution was signed.
